Notification
 
If you processes personal data it is quite likely you are a Data Controller and will need to notify the Information Commissioner about this. There is a charge made for this dependent on the turnover or size of the company doing the processing. KPG Professional Services can assess your company and explain whether you are required to notify and manage this for you on an annual basis.
 
Subject Access Requests
 
Everybody has the right under The Data Protection act 1998 to see any information held about them by a Data Controller. KPG Professional Services can handle these requests on your behalf allowing you to continue with your business without having to dedicate the time required to managing this task
 
Training
 
At KPG Professional Services we are able to deliver bespoke training to you and your staff on site. Whether it is just a one hour overview of The Data Protection Act 1998 or a full day's training and workshops, we are able to provide this to you.

Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
 
This has been in place for 6 years now, it came into force on 1st January 2005 and requires all public authorities or designated bodies t release information in response to a written request. It is a very complicated process and we at KPG Professional Services can provide in-house training for you and also manage your FoISA requests if you wish.
